About the "Real" Shizuo

Your humble blogger is a fan of anime, metafiction, and the internet. His Ikebukuro is the neighborhood of Brighton, in the city of Boston, and though he isn't the toughest guy there, he shares some qualities with the fictional Shizuo -- like an awesome/awful temper, and an ability to push so far past his own limits that he injures himself. I basically decided to do this when people started asking me for anime recommendations, and I realized I'd seen so much that I had a fairly exclusive top ten list. Plus, I couldn't find a website that had interesting, quirky reviews of anime series for people who weren't totally into anime. So here we are. I hope you enjoy the ride.
